Hubei YICHANG Marine Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. (YMD) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed company China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) (stock name: China Heavy Industry, stock code: 601989). The company was founded in 1970 and is located on the beautiful bank of the Xiling Gorge in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, adjacent to the Gezhouba Hydropower Station. The Shanghai Chengdu Expressway and Hanyi Expressway are intertwined, with trains and planes directly reaching the transportation hub city, making transportation very convenient.
